Adventr offers a cloud-based platform that lets users upload assets and connect to their databases to create interactive videos for free. To that end, Harris hopes Adventr will become like the "Photoshop of connected media," where it becomes the standard platform people use to access such technology. Adventr first raised a roughly $5 million seed round in 2021, led by Paladin Capital, with participation from Reinventure Capital, In/Visible Ventures, and music artist John Legend. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck remember the feeling of being the new kids at the Sundance Film Festival. “I remember being like, oh my God, this festival has been around 20 years, it’s such an old festival,” Boden said in a recent interview with The Associated Press. Its "SmartListen" feature uses patented AI-powered voice control to allow users to interact with videos in real-time. Adventr founder Devo Harris was previously a Grammy award-winning producer and music executive, who worked with artists like Kanye West and John Legend. The following week, Harris uploaded the same video but added interactive buttons so users could choose which scene to watch next. 23andMe used Adventr to let its customers ask a video of a genetic counselor whether they're likely to inherit a disease their parent has, for example. In the next six to 12 months, Harris says Adventr wants to incorporate more large language models and generative AI technology to make its voice controls more sophisticated.

CNN —At the age of 75, legendary musician and producer Brian Eno is planning to embark on his first-ever solo tour. “‘Ships’ features an orchestral adaptation of Eno’s acclaimed 2016 album, ‘The Ship’ as well as new and classic Eno compositions,” the post reads. Known for his ambient compositions, Eno was a founding member of British art rock band Roxy Music, which shot to fame in the early 1970s. He will appear alongside Baltic Sea Philharmonic, with Estonian-American conductor Kristjan Järvi orchestrating and conducting a performance commissioned by the Venice Biennale, the Instagram post adds. “This performance marks Brian Eno’s first live tour in a five decade solo career and also his first appearance with orchestra,” it continues.
